Each show at Progressive Sharing is an exploration of one big idea.
This show is about River Travel.
In July of this year John and Charlie paddled a canoe 240 miles down the Delaware River for ten days, documenting their journey as the river changed from turbulent spring to industrial tidewater. They’ll be sharing their photographs, videos and journal entries from the trip.
In August our third annual homemade barge went into the Susquehanna River. Several months and many different captains and guests later the barge is still floating near Nanticoke, Pa, but we’re going to to try to retrieve a section of it this week. If it fits into the freight elevator you can see it in the gallery on First Friday. If it doesn’t, you’ll probably see it in front of the gallery on the sidewalk…
Join us for a First Friday opening reception on November 6th from 7 - 10pm, we’ll be serving wine and filtered river water for your refreshment.
